About Me
Hi, my name is Rob Hall. For eight hours, five days a week I am an accountant based in York, England. For the remaining 16 hours of eachday I am a father of two, a York City fan and a Citroen mad car enthusiast!
Since passing my driving test aged 18, I have only ever driven Citroens, a habit first defined by my very first car – a classic 1982 BX (bought in 1992 for £250) . That car took me, my drumkit and the rest of our four piece rock band all over the southwest of England and gave me some wonderful memories. So much so, I’ve been Citroen hooked ever since!
I traded mny BX in for a ZX in 1997, since then I’ve owned three more Citroens, a Xsara and two C5′s. I fully support Citroens post millennium move towards creating spacious, eco friendly cars. In many ways, Citroens have grown and moved with my own life – from my rock band BX through to the fuel efficient accountant pleasing C5. All in all, I’d feel very wrong should I ever answer the question ‘what do you drive?’ with anything other than the word ‘Citroen.’
My last three citroens (the Xsara nd two C5′s), I have purchased most of my car parts online. Having a head for figures, I can tell you that in most instances I have saved well over 30% on standard retail and garage part prices. On the odd occasion, I have saved over 50%.
